“The Hunger” is an English television horror anthology series. Each episode was based around an independent story introduced by the host. Stories tended to focus on themes of self-destructive desire and obsession, with a strong component of soft-core erotica; popular topics for the stories included cannibalism, vampires, sex and poison.

Oscar nominee Terence Stamp hosts the complete season one of this groundbreaking horror anthology series (presented by legendary directors Tony and Ridley Scott), which features a phenomenal cast of familiar faces as you’ve never seen them before. Inspired by leading horror writers (including Brian Lumley and Robert Bloch), each episode will draw you into a mesmerizing world of horrific characters and erotic encounters, where demons feed on the weakness of men and temptation consumes reason. Also starring Daniel Craig, Jason Flemyng, Lena Headey, Timothy Spall, Karen Black, Colin Ferguson, Margot Kidder and Balthazar Getty. Inspired by Tony Scott’s cult classic film The Hunger.
Terence Stamp hosts a half-hour show, introducing the evening’s story, with a passing nod to the eponymous cult film. The stories are steamy, erotic versions of Tales From The Dark Side and the like, with a touch of class, dealing as they do with power, sex, lust and driving urges.
